Recently, a colleague recommended an incredibly practical electric bike — the Samebike RS-A01PRO-T. After riding it for half a month, I’ve found it’s truly a “city-shuttle expert,” and I’m eager to share my experience with you today!
First Look: Sturdy, Durable, and Spacious
The 26-inch carbon steel frame looks solid and reliable, with the battery hidden in the down tube for a sleek, streamlined design—nothing like those clunky e-bikes out there. The titanium alloy suspension fork with lockout seamlessly absorbs vibrations over speed bumps or rough roads, keeping rides stable even on dirt paths in the park during weekends. The aluminum alloy handlebars offer a comfortable, non-slip grip, so my wrists never feel strained during long rides.
The high-carbon steel thickened rear carrier is a workhorse—I’ve tested it by carrying two large grocery bags (about 7 kg) with ease, perfect for picking up (parcels) or groceries. The wide front and rear PVC mudguards are a game-changer: I rode through a rainy day last week, and my pants stayed completely mud-free!
Core Performance: Strong Power with Efficient Range
The 36V/15Ah lithium battery is a pleasant surprise! In pure electric mode, it runs about 40 km (the official range is 45 km—maybe my weight plays a role), and in pedal-assist mode, it goes over 70 km. With a 10 km daily commute, I only need to charge it once a week. Using DMC 18650 battery cells, it’s (supposedly) more durable, and the detachable design means high-rise residents don’t have to haul the entire bike upstairs to charge.
The 500W motor tackles hills impressively. There’s a 30-degree slope near my home, and it climbs effortlessly in pure electric mode without any “power lag.” The default speed is 25 km/h, but you can unlock it to 35 km/h—ideal for city commuting, with a little extra speed for thrill-seekers.
Detail-Oriented Design: Safety and Convenience at Every Turn
The 180mm mechanical disc brakes are far more responsive than the “V-brakes” I used before. In an emergency, they can stop the bike within 2 meters, giving me full peace of mind. The SHIMANO 7-speed shifting system is smooth and effortless: shifting to gear 1 when starting from a red light is a breeze, and switching to low gears on hills requires no struggle.
The 3.5-inch LCD meter with a USB port displays real-time speed, battery level, and mileage. Its backlight is clear but not 刺眼 at night, and it even lets me charge my phone on the go when needed. The Kenda 26-inch luminous-edge tires are perfect for night rides—the reflective strips on the tire edges are highly visible under car headlights, eliminating safety concerns for evening cycling.
The quick-release waterproof cable system is a thoughtful touch: it prevents short circuits during rainy rides and makes maintenance a breeze—just detach parts as needed, ideal for lazy folks like me! With packaging dimensions of 138×25×80 cm and a weight of 33 kgs, it’s several pounds lighter than similar models, so even women can easily carry it up stairs.
